Thank you for your interest in the SMUD Retrocommissioning (RCx) Program. The SMUD RCx Program has experienced an overwhelming demand for retrocommissioning incentive dollars over the past year. As a result of this demand, the program pipeline is now full and all RCx incentives have been committed. In anticipation of future funding, SMUD is establishing a waiting list for RCx projects. To be placed on the waiting list, please contact your SMUD Account Manager or contact the program at smudrcx@peci.org.

How to Qualify
To be eligible for the Program you must meet these basic requirements:
• Be a SMUD commercial customer.
• Own or operate a building that has at least 100,000 square feet of conditioned space, a direct digital control (DDC)
system in place, and central plant mechanical equipment
in relatively good condition.
• Have funding available to implement agreed upon RCx
measures within 12 months of the project start date.
*Qualification of projects with most but not all of these characteristics will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
