MBO Inc. is lead by a team of NEBB Certified Supervisors, Mechanical Professional Engineers, LEED® Accredited Professionals, and Department of Energy Modelers. MBO Inc. develops and identifies all strategies and measures that will optimize the operation and functionality of a building's systems and pieces of equipment, including how these systems function together. MBO Inc. then prioritizes the strategies and measures by criticality and cost effectiveness. The strategy for implementation is developed in consultation with and approval by the client. MBO Inc. provides building operators with training and assistance to maintain the optimized operation of the building systems equipment. The systematic and rigorous investigation, evaluation, and analysis of all existing major energy consuming systems, and equipment associated with the building typically include: HVAC and chilled water systems, domestic hot water systems, hydronic systems, lighting controls, and energy management systems. MBO Inc.’s commitment is to retrocommission the HVAC to its original ideal system intent and to optimize enterprise energy conservation. Through continued measurement, verification, maintenance, and operator training, MBO Inc. will work with the client as a partner to ensure the project is ultimately, economically successful. MBO Inc. may also provide continuous commissioning with field verification support that will enable recommissioning assuring the energy and resource consuming equipment is installed and operated at optimal efficiency.
